Garnish

This is a TRUE favorite! Click here to visit Garnish Its sort of right up there with my semi-love affair with office supplies. Packaging. Ahh....can't you smell nice, fresh, packaging all ready to accept something homemade, ready to give a neighbor, friend or co worker? This Christmas, instead of making cookies, we made Chex Mix. Wa.Wa.Wa. I know what you're thinking. Chex Mix? Really. Snoozer-ville. No. It is my friend, Cora's recipe, and here it is:

1 Big ol' bag of pretzels (Costco)
1 Big ol' thing of mix nuts (Costco)
1 Big ol' box of Chex mix (Costco, mixed)
1 very small (because I don't like them) box/container of Bugles. Remember those from the 80s?

You mix this, spread it out over a big ol' jelly roll pan. Then, over at the stove, you melt the following together:

1C Karo syrup
1C butter
2C brown sugar

Let these boil (The amount listed is for 1 jelly roll pan's worth. If you have more, break out more butter!)
Pour boiled yumminess over aforementioned chex mix. Bake at 350 for 5 minutes. Take out, stir, return to oven for 5 more minutes. Let cool slightly, then break into large chunks and place in adorable Garnish containers and give to everyone you know! Enjoy!!
