Pillow Painting

While I'm twiddling my thumbs waiting for all my girls' curtains to be made and rooms to be painted, I decided to snazz up some of their little accessories. I like to customize (monogram) some of their rooms' things to make it different from anything that you'd see at your neighbors.

Here's a cute little pillow Peyton and I made

I wanted to add a little 'p' to it, for her. I penciled it in, and just decided to freehand paint it. Super simple. Another more surefire way of getting a lettering that you like, is to print off a giant letter, cut it out, and trace it.

I like to use this fabric paint. I didn't really realize that it was pearlized, but in the end it added a nice little sheen.

Here it is after 1 coat. It ended up needing 3 coats. Cute!
